Barisal mother of two children is accused of rape attempt!
A woman was found guilty of attempting rape (35) in the village Baradulali of Barthhi union under Gournadi Upazila of Barisal.
On Thursday evening, the accused Kamal Sardar, accused of torture, filed a written complaint in the Gournadi Model Police Station.
According to the complaint, the woman has divorced her husband 10 years ago. Since then, his sister's house lives in the village of Baradulali.
On Monday, around 12:00 pm, Kamal Sarder, son of neighbouring Abdul Huq Sardar, broke into the house of Patkhari and entered the woman's house and tried to rape her with a towel in her face.
Kamal escaped when his sister screamed after hearing the sound of her ganglion. The woman filed a written complaint in the Gournadi Model Police Station on Tuesday evening alleging Kamal Sardar.
Duty officer of Gournadi Model Police Station SI Mosharraf Hossain Khan said the legal process against the accused was under investigation in the written complaint.
