11 killed in a mountainous collapse in Naniarchar of Rangamati district The incident took place in different 5 villages of Naniarchar upazila early Tuesday. 

The villages are - Burigagh, Dharampa, Amtali, Barapul and Chharipara villages of Naniarchar Upazila.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rangamati Tapash Shil confirmed the information. But the identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. A team of administration is continuing to rescue.

In addition to the rain, the hill collapses in Islampur-45 in Naniarchar Upazila, in Baghachari-42 and Burighat-in one place. In these areas, people have suffered huge losses in the homes.

 For the people of the vulnerable area, 21 resort centers have been opened by the district administration. People are told to stay in the safe places by mocking them. People began to leave the house in fear of tension due to tension in the hills.

Naniarchar Upazila Parishad Chairman Quality Chakma said that six people were killed and five people were killed in Nuriachar union under Burighat Union due to heavy rain.

 The deceased were identified as Smriti Chakma (23) of Dharampasha Karberi Para and her son Ayub Dewan of Burighat Union of 3rd in the Upazila. We did not know the names of the others.

In 2011, 120 people died in Rangamati hills collapsing on this day. The injured were 50 or more. In addition, at the time of the collapse of hills in 145 places, Rangamati was separated with the whole country.
