Pakistan Punjab Govt Releases Rs Rs 2 cr to Renovate Krishna Temple
It was made in 1897 by two people named Kanji Mal and Ujagar Mal. Then it was part of India. After partition, the temple came to the Punjab province of Pakistan. The Hindus of Rawalpindi kept the temple alive.
In 1949, the temple became one of the pilgrims of the Hindus of Pakistan. Hundreds of Hindus used to take care of them. But in 1970, the temple acquired the ETBP. They are now in charge of care.
The board's deputy-administrator Mohammad Asif said that the temple is so small that fans can not worship properly at the festival.
That's why it has been initiated to reform. Already 20 lakhs have been allocated. He said that the doors of the garbage house will be closed until the repair work is done.
