Local alert signal number 3 at seaport!
In the east-central Bay of Bengal and the adjacent areas, the lightness has become obviously lightening.
It may be further intensified to the north/northeast. In Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Pigeon seaport were asked to show local alert signal number 3.
The Meteorological Department said in a bulletin on Tuesday morning, it could cause storm surge in north Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh coastal areas and seaports.
All the boats and fishing trawlers located in the Bay of Bengal have been asked to move safely around the coast until further notice.
