Police arrested Asif Mizan (17), one of the accused in the murder case of Tasafia Amin.
Asif is a member of the Facebook-based 'Rich Kids Gangster' and the main accused in the murder case Adnan Mirza's friend
On Wednesday night, he was arrested from Chittagong city's Nasirabad area. Asif is son of Abul Hashem of Hamasarbagh Gaussia resident area of Panchlaish Police Station in Mizan city.
Earlier, after the death of Tasafia, police arrested his friend Adnan Mirza
Assistant Police Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CPP) Karnaphuli Zone Jahidul Islam confirmed that Asif was under house arrest in the house of Rana upazila of Chittagong district. Recently came back to town from a grand house.
It is to be mentioned that on May 2, locals informed the police about a corpse lying on the banks of Karnaphuli river near Patenga 18 in Chittagong city.
After the picture of the body spread through social media, the family identified the body of Tasafia Amin (16) as the family went to the police station.
