China To Host Iranian President amid nuclear deal upheaval

China To Host Iranian President amid nuclear deal upheaval!

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani has received an invitation from China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

As a result, Rouhani made opportunities to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. After the United States withdrew from Iran and the Six World Powers Agreement, Rouhani received an invitation at a critical time.

The contract, known as the 'Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action' (JCPO), was signed in 2015. Iran was on one side of the deal. On the other side, there were six superpowers - USA, UK, Russia, France, China and Germany.

On May 8, the United States withdrew from the deal. As a result, the contract is now busted. However, some countries in China, Russia and Europe are trying to protect the agreement.

In this situation, China invites Iran to an upcoming conference. Iran is not a member of the SCO Alliance, observer state. They have long been trying to become a coalition member.

On Monday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang E said that he will hold a meeting with Hassan Rouhani at the end of President Xi Jinping SCO conference.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will also attend the conference, he said. The conference will be held on 9th and 10th June in the city of Qingdao.

China's nuclear deal does not tell whether China has a nuclear deal in the conference But Iran's biggest trading partner has indicated that if the United States withdraws from the deal, they also want to maintain relations with Iran.
