Prime Minister's press conference on the afternoon of India tour!
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a press conference today about her recent visit to India. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS on Tuesday.
The press conference will be held at the Prime Minister's official Ganabhaban at 4 pm on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Kolkata on a two-day official visit on 25 May. During the visit, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi jointly inaugurated 'Bharat Bhaban' at World Bharati University in Santiniketan.
During this time, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Prime Minister met the bilateral meeting at the Bangladesh Bhaban and joined the Visva-Bharati University as a guest of Honor.
Besides, the Prime Minister received Honorary De-Witt (Doctor of Literature) degree from Kazi Nazrul University in Asansol, West Bengal.
During the tour, Sheikh Hasina held a meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. In addition to this visit, the Prime Minister visited the 'Jorasanko Thakur Bhaban', a memorial statue of poet Rabindranath Tagore and the historian 'Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose' Museum in Kolkata.
