Police have to achieve more efficiency in cybersecurity
With the expansion of the technology, the Prime Minister said differentiating between militancy and terrorism, in that case, police personnel will have to acquire more skills to ensure cybersecurity.
He said this to the newly appointed police officers who joined the workshop on the concluding parade of the Assistant Police Superintendent of 35th BCS (Police) Batch of Assistant Police Superintendent of Bangladesh Police Academy of Sarda of Charghat in Rajshahi on Wednesday.
Referring to the courageous role of the police in combating militancy, the Prime Minister said, not only in Bangladesh, militancy and terrorism have now become a big problem all over the world.
But the police force of Bangladesh has been able to control it in a strict hand. But with the expansion of technology, efforts are being made to adopt various techniques to increase militancy and terrorism.
So, to ensure cybersecurity, police members will have more skill.
Emphasizing the role of police in protecting the country's peace, he said, to increase the police capacity, different units of police, including the new police station, have been increased manpower.
